Vistek provided specialist Blast Resistant design services for post-tensioned concrete experts ADG on their work in inner city Doha, Qatar. Vistek delivered designs for critical transfer beams to withstand being subjected to terrorist attack.
We were responsible for ensuring the design was compliant with the US Department of Defence’s Unified Facilities Criteria with regard to blast loads.
An accelerated schedule meant that a robust and efficient design process needed to be rapidly developed to ensure optimised turn-around times, whilst still providing a cost effective design.
